BIKES AND EQUIPMENT

Rental bikes are available to rent from brands from bike shops in town. We recommended that riders bring their own bikes. A well maintained full-suspension trail/Enduro bike with 140 to 170mm travel that’s capable of solid day climbing and descending on rough terrain is required. 2.4-2.5 Double ply tires are recommended, they will prevent puncture and will increase control on the bike. Knee pads that you can comfortably pedal in are highly recommended. Helmets are mandatory when on your bike. A day ride backpack is recommended.

LEVEL REQUIRED

The minimum level is High Intermediate, you should be able to ride black trails and should be able to climb 1000m (3000 feet) elevation a day, The climbing trails are steep in Whistler. This trip is suitable if you have been riding consistently for three to four years and are confident on most types of single track and conditions. Whistler is pretty low elevation so the altitude won’t affect you. Refer to our skill level form for more information on rider level.

THE RIDING

The trails are technical in the Sea to Sky and you will ride a variety of terrain, from fast and loamy, to technical and slow, to loose and fast. You will receive a massive amount of tips and coaching, we will session some sections of the trails and you’ll get feedback. Your riding will improve a lot during the trip. Bonus, The trails we ride will go by some of the features of the Tour De Gnar, Yoann and Nate will definitely send a few!

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD

We will be staying in premium accommodation in the heart of Whistler.
You will be provided with a welcome and farewell dinner, breakfast each day, post riding Apres and snacks. No alcohol is included. Please let us know if you have any dietary needs.
